On Tuesday, March 26th, 2020 at 11:28 pm, we experienced a major network malfunction that knocked one of our main app hosts off the grid and resulted in the complete loss of most of our services for a total of 38 minutes.

Administrators were notified about an outage of one of our services, followed by an investigation to find the cause.

The scale of the outage was discovered to include the following services: VortexdataNET Status, VortexdataNET Database, Vortexdata Interactive Teamspeak, Vortexdata Interactive Game Host.

We contacted our provider of the affected infrastructure, as the root of the incident was determined to be located in the datacenter.

Some services were observed to recover again.
March 27th, 00:32 (CEST)
Most services resumed normal operation.
March 27th, 10:00 am (CEST)
All services resumed normal operation and network instabilities have been fixed.
The provider quickly got in touch after being contacted and informed us about an outage in the datacenter at the node our main app host is connected to.
